November Progressive Class Series:
"Potpourri Month" with Joseph Mellen!
This month we’re exploring a variety of topics. Each class will be an exciting and valuable addition to our dancing!
Nov. 6th: Steal Jams
In this much-requested class, Joseph will teach the art of steal dancing for our beloved birthday jams. If you’ve ever watched a jam circle at an HSDS event and wished you had the skills to jump in there and smoothly steal someone’s partner away, Joseph is prepared to equip you! For this class it is helpful to know foundational moves from our beginner class.
Nov. 13th: Transitioning Between Styles
This week, Joseph Mellen teams up with Hannah Batchelder to show how to glide seamlessly between Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Charleston in one song, following the rhythm and energy of the music.
Nov 20th: Student Choice!
This week’s class will be shaped by you! Participate in the previous weeks to share your ideas, questions, and favorite moves so Joseph can craft a class based on what excites you most. Don’t miss your chance to dive into the topics YOU want to explore!
