I'm so excited I just have to let it out. The regional meetup is BACK with Chirstabel and the Jons! We're way off so we won't worry about pinning anything down yet, but I just wanted to let everyone know we're Doing. It. Again! And if you remember Last Year and How Great It Was you'll understand why I'm so excited!
What a Dance! We PACKED the monkey! We had people that had danced for years and people who were just starting! We had High School students and college students. We had young professionals and retirees. We had the Huntsville crowd as well as people from Nashville, Birmingham, Memphis, Knoxville, Atlanta, and Auburn! The only problem the whole night was finding space on the dance floor!
UPDATE 3: Since we have so many out-of-town people coming, we're going to answer calls at the phone number (256-369-9543) in case anyone has questions. (Normally we simply respond to voice mails.) For the weekend you'll also be able to send texts to that number and have them answered.
UPDATE 2: As of about 7 last night, the address is working.
Hey, Huntsville people, at the Dec 9th dance, we're going to also do a pot luck here. It'll be BYOB&F, Bring Your Own Bottle and Food. So bring your favorite snack with you to share! Out-of-towners, don't worry about it, we'll bring enough for everyone!
