This is an intermediate to advanced skill share for HSDS core members. Skill Share is not a guided lesson. If you are looking for a taught intermediate lesson, check out Tuesday UFC or TNS thursday lessons. We generally have two rooms, one for the main sharing and a second, small room for people to practice other minor things.

-Practice Routines
-Discuss what someone learned at a previous workshop

HSDS Core Membership - Intermediate Swing Dance in Huntsville

For the last few months, the Huntsville Swing Dance Society has received a lot of requests for intermediate swing dance oportunities in Huntsville. We've spent a lot of time thinking about how to provide this and now have a great solution!

The Dance
HSDS will be renting floor time for experienced dancers to dance the way THEY want to! We will be starting off with two times:

South Side Swing - HSV

South Side Swing is starting up Tuesday August 24! Don't like driving all the way across town for your swing? Been itching to dance again Tuesday nights? IT IS YOUR TIME!

The lessons, taught by Jason and Danielle Knight, will be set up in 4 week series and the intermediate classes WILL build on each other so it will be harder to walk in later on in the game. The beginner lessons will also change but while some may be a little more difficult a first time beginner will still be able to walk in.
7:00-8:00- Int. Lesson
8:00-9:00- Beg. Lesson
9:00-10:00- Practice time

Thursday Night Swing

Need a chance to practice all those moves you've learned? Want to try and figure out something new? Just want to dance without worrying about who's watching? Then it's time to stop by Thursday Night Swing from the UAH Dance Club.

TNS is a skill share where you can go, learn, play and generally have a fun time. There'll be DJ'd music and lots of people playin around!
