June Dance Recap - AMAZING

You know, we normally expect the DJ dances to be a bit more low key. More so for a summer dance. More so for a dance not on our normal day

MAN WERE WE WRONG.

A brief (and incomplete) HSDS History

Chapter 1
The Huntsville Swing Dance Society started swinging in 1995 when Paul Wieland and a few friends began meeting at Gorin’s Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop on the corner of Washington and Clinton Streets in Huntsville. Free dances to recorded music, of classic and neo-swing bands, were held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.

HSDS DJ Dance and Potluck Party

HSDS is happy to announce our Holiday potluck dance! It's that time of year to remember all the great things that have happened throughout the year and celebrate them with the friends who have made the year for you. Please bring your favorite food dish (or garlic hotwings) to the dance. This will be a nice, warm, low key party with a focus on the people that make this such a great dance scene.

Rob and Kristen Bethlenfalvay will both be DJ'ing. We'll anounce more DJs as we get closer to the event so stay tuned. Make your plan, come on down, see your friends and share a few dances with those people who make this world such a wonderful place!
