In November, we have a treat! We've got a weekend of back-to-back badass bands. The weekend starts off Friday with Christabel and the Jons at the Red Cat in Birmingham! Christa and the band will be bringing her wonderful appalacian folk swing to a great Birmingham venue.

Christabel and the Jons are coming back to the Red Cat for another awesome BHAM JAM party. There will be a beginner swing lesson from 7:30-8:00, and then things will be swingin'' the rest of the evening. Christabel and the Jons are a Tennessee swing band with a beautiful sound. So whether you want to dance or not, come eat, drink, and be merry with us and enjoy the awesome music, people, food and drink at the Red Cat. Can't wait to see you all there!

This December, Huntsville will be doing something special. We'll be holding a regional get together for all of the swing dancers in the Alabama-Tennesse region! Just like going home for Christmas, this is a chance to sit down for a relaxed evening of socializing with other members of the area's swing dance community. And who better to headline such an event than Christabel and the Jons! So come on out and enjoy your dance family!

Lindy Hop Swing Lessons:

Hey, folks! It's time for our holiday bash, and it's gonna be swingin' hot. We'll have awesome guest DJs from Huntsville and Nashville, and a beautiful 1000 square foot floating floor to dance on. Come help us celebrate the holidays and get your groove on. We'll have a beginner swing lesson from 7:30 to 8:00, and from then on, we'll be playing music that swings for everyone to dance! So there'll be lindy hopping, charleston, balboa, maybe some blues and other tunes upon request. The cover is $7 per person just to help cover expenses.

Steel City Swing is bringing the magic of Lindy to the Magic City!

Beginner lessons are 7:00 - 7:30 with Intermediate classes from 7:30-8:30. Open dance continues 8:00-10:00. We know you've got that dance disease and the only cure's to get your weekly swing! So come out, learn something new and have a generally fun time kickin it every week with Jered and the Just Gotta Swing Crew!
