West Coast Weekly Dance

Gee’s will host a West Coast Swing dance every Thursday night starting next Thursday (01/12/12), DJ’d by Patrick Moise. Dancing from 7:00pm to 10:00 pm. Admission charge is $5.00. Wednesday night Gee’s will have the usual west coast swing class taught by Stephane Schneider from 6:30-8:30pm. If you don’t know the west coast swing now is the time to come on Wednesday and learn the west coast so you can dance the night away on Thursday night. Also get ready for a big west coast swing workshop on February 11th.

West Coast Swing Lessons

Stephane Schneider teaches west coast swing every Wednesday night at Gee's Place. Stephane is a fantastic dancer who has completed in international competitions. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate westie, there'll be something for you. After the lessons there'll be som social dancing so that you can practice what you learned.

some partyingIt may have taken a whole weekend but May even topped the outstanding April Smith dance! What an incredibly mash-up of dancing. We started on Miss Tess at the Monkey, worked our way through JoHo, the Knights, Christa, a Barron, and landed on the mountain with Rob Murphy.

The Dean Martinis are busy guys. In case you didn't get their events, check out the attached flier. They're playing Sambuca on the 2nd and 14th as well as the Arts and Music Festival and then Birmingham on the 27th. These guys are always busy so make sure to check them out!

Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Resort

The legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra will be at the famous Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN memorial day weekend. They'll have a nice 5000sq ft dance floor as well. You don't get a lot of chances to dance to the Glenn Miller Orchestra so get your tickets while you can! And if thats not enough dancing, they have two other dances as well: Ed Jones Orchestra Saturday and Debbi Bailes Band Monday.
