Just a minor update: We've corrected a small mistake in the website that was causing the ical feed on the calendar to display no entries. This should allow you to import the HSDS calendar of events into whatever calendar you use (google, outlook, etc). The best way to access the ical feed for the year is to visit The Yearly Calendar and click the little calendar icon in the lower left. As always, let us know at swing@huntsvilleswingdance.org.

HSDS has posted the 2012 Dance Schedule. We will book the bands as we get closer to the dates. This schedule is primarily to allow people to plan their schedules as well as events to plan around our dances (or at the very least let us know if they're going to schedule over us). The only date left is February. We'll let you know when we have it set. But no matter what, look forward to another great year of dance!

I just wanted to make everyone aware, there's an issue with reoccuring calendar events on the HSDS website. An update to the software which interprets the HSDS website code changed how some functions work. This requires us to update HSDS website code (which is maintained by the drupal community. As soon as an update is available, I'll apply it. However, until then, if a repeating date has one set of times on the first line and 12am-X on the rest of them, the first time is correct.

If you're the kind of person that likes to find out about whats going on as soon as it's available, you might want to consider the HSDS Calendar Fire Hose. Basically, it's a blog of all calendar events int he order their posted, (rather than in the order they occur or being filtered by location). You can follow the RSS feed from it or just check it now and again.
