Is this the Mile High Blues Festival? Doesn’t that happen in August?
The Mile High Blues Exchange is a blues dancing festival, and it happens each year at the end of March. The Mile High Blues Festival is a blues music festival. And it does happen in August. That website is at www.milehighbluesfestival.com. And while we dig what they’re doing, we’re not them. (Please note this if you are a band trying to book yourself into the Festival.)

Lindy on the Rocks

Come and join us for Lindy on the Rocks 2012! Lindy on the Rocks brings Lindy Hop instructors from across the globe to Denver to teach, dance, and inspire. Don't miss this chance to learn from some of the best swing dancers and instructors in the world.

You can expect at least 4 class tracks, ranging from beginner through masters. Classes are generally available Friday evening, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday.

Full-weekend passes and dance passes are available (best value), but you can also attend any class or event separately during the event.

Rocky Mountain Balboa Blowout

A weekend of Balboa, the Swing Era dance defined by its understated upper body movements and intricate footwork. "Rocky Bal" features world champion instructors, top notch competitions, performances, and live music by the world's best vintage swing bands. Denver boasts some of the world's best balboa instructors, but also attracts the best balboa instructors, competitors, and performers, bringing together dancers from all over the world who want to keep America's historical dance alive.

Lindy Diversion

A weekend devoted to the pure enjoyment of dancing and music. Offering classes in Lindy Hop, Blues, Tap, Jazz and Soul, Lindy Diversion captures the spirit of American historical vintage dances, with four generations of instructors, performers, and dancers. The nation's best musicians, devoted to preserving vintage music, also make this event unique and "swingin," for all ages to come and dance to.
