The Birmingham Swing Dancers Are Dancing the Night After Thanksgiving....

Bring any leftover Thanksgiving Dinner desserts to share. We will furnish plates and forks.

From the melancholy sounds reminiscent of a young Sinatra to the high energy Rockin' Jump Blues of the 1940's, this band has it all.

Wear Halloween costume if you would like or casual attire is fine. Light snacks (does not include beverages) provided. Great wooden dance floor. Reasonably priced bar. No outside drinks allowed. No smoking.

Music by Edd Jones Orchestra, a big band composed of talented and versatile musicians specializing in music for swing dancing and known for their ability to please the varied tastes of the dancing public. The band has earned an enviable reputation for dynamic instrumentals and unique vocal styles.

Beginner East Coast Swing Lesson from 7:30 - 8 pm.

Dance off that Thanksgiving feast with the Birmingham Swing Dancers on Friday, November 27 at the Fultondale Friendship Hall, 1024 Old Walker Chapel Road, Fultondale from 8:00 – 11:00 pm.

Our holiday charity this year is the Church of the Reconciler who provide food, clothing and medical supplies to the homeless in Birmingham. The organization has requested large jars of peanut butter & jelly, bread, coffee, sugar, Tylenol, bandages, ointments, antacids, and peroxide. Please bring your donations to the dance, they appreciate your assistance.
