Come out Tuesday evenings in August and learn Swing Dance, or add to your existing swing moves. We will be covering novice to intermediate moves and will be moving fairly swiftly through a plethora of 'stand alone' moves

Ain't Misbehavin' has its set list in order and is ready to play for the final Summertime Swing Dance on Friday, August 13, 2010. Join us from 7-10PM at the Camp Branch-Saginaw Community Center and dance the night away to the 18-piece Big Band. Dress is casual, concessions available, with a great wooden dance floor . . . and the A/C will be turned on EARLY! $5 admission. The Birmingham Swing Dancers invite you to a swing dance on Friday, February 26 at the Fultondale Friendship Hall, 1024 Old Walker Chapel Road, Fultondale from 8:00 – 11:00 pm. Music by Patton James & the Synchromatics, a modern jump blues, rocking swing band from Nashville, Tennessee. From the melancholy sounds reminiscent of a YOUNG SINATRA to the high energy ROCKIN' JUMP BLUES of the 1940's, this band has it all. Admission is $11 for BSD members, $13 for non-members. Casual attire. Light snacks, soft drinks, water and ice are furnished. No alcohol or smoking allowed.

Triple Step Swing on Tuesday Nights Taught by BSD instructors Pat Abbott & Rinsel McIntosh each Tuesday in January.

Special “Charleston” Line Dance Class – Wednesday, September 30 Only, 8:30 - 9 pm

Directions: From I-65, take Exit 252 and turn onto Montgomery Hwy (US 31) north heading toward Birmingham and Vestavia Hills. Drive about 1 ¾ miles, Vestavia Hills Civic Center will be on your left. At Civic Center turn left at the traffic light onto Merryvale Road. Continue to first stop sign, turn left. Lodge is the first building on your right.
