The rec center is the white building located behind the Senior Center (Drake Avenue) at 3770 Ivy Avenue. Easiest access is to turn off Drake, North, and it will be on the left just after you pass the Senior Center. Front door faces Ivy.

I rarely put dances that aren't exclusively swing on the calendar, but both The Dance Club and Patton James have always been huge supporters of the dance scene in Huntsville. This Follow-Intensive weekend is designed to help beginner to intermediate level follows take their dancing to the next level. This workshop will focus on building a strong movement vocabulary for both solo and partner dancing, commitment to movement, and defeating the Wicked Witch and her evil Flying Monkeys that try to keep follows from reaching their full potential! Teachers for the weekend are Alysha Cantrell, Lettie Andrade De La Torre, Jenna Knox and special guest Lindsay Longstreth. A dance will follow the workshop on Sunday evening with Knoxville's favorite DJ/Follow Kelly Gassert!
On June 26, Corey Manke and Reuel Reis will the panelists of a DJ summit held at Corey's home. This provides an opportunity to talk about issues with DJing and hone your skills. Both beginning and experienced DJs are encouraged to attend.

Presentation by the panelists on DJ topics and Q&A from the audience. Novices and advanced DJs welcome.
3:30-5:00
DJ Summit Masters Class: This will be a personalized review of everyone's DJ material by the panelists. Novices from the first hour are free to stick around but are not required to submit music.
