What a Dance! We PACKED the monkey! We had people that had danced for years and people who were just starting! We had High School students and college students. We had young professionals and retirees. We had the Huntsville crowd as well as people from Nashville, Birmingham, Memphis, Knoxville, Atlanta, and Auburn! The only problem the whole night was finding space on the dance floor!
In November, we have a treat! We've got a weekend of back-to-back badass bands. The weekend starts off Friday with Christabel and the Jons at the Red Cat in Birmingham! Christa and the band will be bringing her wonderful appalacian folk swing to a great Birmingham venue.

The Birmingham Swing Dancers present Patton James & the Synchromatics, a rocking swing band from Nashville, TN. From the melancholy sounds reminiscent of a young Sinatra to the high energy Rockin' Jump Blues of the 1940's, this band has it all. Christabel and the Jons are coming back to the Red Cat for another awesome BHAM JAM party. There will be a beginner swing lesson from 7:30-8:00, and then things will be swingin'' the rest of the evening. Christabel and the Jons are a Tennessee swing band with a beautiful sound. So whether you want to dance or not, come eat, drink, and be merry with us and enjoy the awesome music, people, food and drink at the Red Cat. Can't wait to see you all there!
