What: HSDS July Sock Hop with the Dean Martinis

Cost: $10 General, $7 Student
It's summer sock hop time! Some of you have some darn good 50's outfits out there and this is your chance to show them off. If you think you've got what it takes to make the 50's look great, you can enter the contest for the best 50's outfit!
The Dean Martinis are anchoring this sock hop for us in their tried and true rockabilly style. They were well loved their last time down and their back again for an incredible dance so come on out! With the rock solid rock and roll and bouncing blues it's going to be a blast!

NBE 4 is fast approaching. You still have a few more weeks to get your registration in. $95 for 8 classes, 3 nights of dances and some fine Southern Hospitality.

What: HSDS August Workshop and Dance with Solomon Douglas!

Solomon Douglas is BACK! Solomon plays everywhere and would normally be impossible for a small scene like us to get if he didn't love us so much! This is your chance to show that we love him too and appreciate him coming out of his way =). We're setting up a workshop with him so that everyone in Huntsville benefits from the swing dance secrets he brings us from Seattle as well as from around the world. And after the workshop he'll be anchoring one of the best dances of the year at the Flying Monkey! It's very rare for Solomon to grace us so plan on coming out to show him your love!
