Since cumberland shuffle is over, I figured I'd leave a note about something our wonderful Seattle teachers left us:
Sister Kate is an all-female, Seattle-based performance troupe specializing in vintage jazz dances. Drawing inspiration from dances from the 1800s–1950s, our repertoire includes routines inspired by Charleston, vintage Burlesque, novelty chorus girl groups, and movie recreations. Our girls are all specialists in the art of vintage jazz dance and come from a variety of dance backgrounds & expertise.

Many other dance scenes have a performing troup. Maybe it's time Huntsville put something together.
