Passing of Adam Chesler's Father

It is with great sadness that I bring you news of the passing of Adam Chesler's father, Bradley Chesler. Adam Chesler is an avid swing dancer in and around Huntsville Alabama. Many of you have danced with him many times. On behalf of the Huntsville Swing Dance Society I would like to extend to Adam and his family our greatest sympathies.

BRADLEY H. CHESLER, 59, of Birmingham, AL passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2010. He was born and raised in San Pedro, California and attended UCLA for his college education. After college he moved to Baton Rouge where he met his wife of 30 years Linda. Shortly after they moved to Birmingham where Bradley retired from AT & T. Brad was very passionate about golf and cycling where he was a member of the Birmingham Bicycle Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Chesler. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Adam Chesler and Sara Chesler; mother, Doris Chesler of California; sister, Linda Chesler of California; brother, Jon Chesler of Louisiana; sister-in-law, Brenda Jordan (Clinton) of Louisiana; and host of other relatives and friends. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 beginning at 12:00 Pm until 2:00 PM with the service taking place at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow. Rabbi Miller will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Association Alabama Chapter, P.O. Box 2888, Huntsville AL 35804-2888. The family would like to give special thanks to Alacare, Always There, ALS Association Alabama Chapter, Calera Elementary School faculty and staff, and the Shelby County Board of Education.
