What: HSDS January Battle of the DJs!
When: Jan 23, 8pm-11pm (beginner lesson @ 7)
Where: Flying Monkey Arts Center, 2211 Seminole Drive, Huntsville, AL
Cost: $7 General, $5 Student
The stage is set, the match-ups drawn. The battle of the DJs is about to commence!
Your DJs for the first round (8-9:40) are:
H1 Alisa Dauro vs. Rob Bethlenfalvay
H2 Jason Knight vs. Richard Chang
H3 Andrea Freng vs. Kansas Cavanaugh
H4 Danielle Beardsley vs. Matt Barron
Semi's will be 9:40-10:30. It'll be:
S1 H1 vs. H3
S2 H2 vs. H4
The Final will be 10:30-11.
Finals: S1 vs S2

What: Beginner and Beginner/Intermediate Swing Lessons
When: Every Tuesday, 6:45pm-9pm
Where: UAH Fitness Center, Huntsville, AL
Cost: $10 non-member, Free UAH Fitness Center Member
Gabriel and Tabitha are back teaching beginner and beginner/intermediate swing. January they are teaching a 4 week progressive course in Charleston. The first class begins at 6:50 and is a beginner class for those wanting to learn how to swing from scratch or those who want to refine their basics. At 7pm, the beginner/intermediate class begins, building on the knowledge from the first class to teach subjects which help make your dance better with out requiring intensive memorization. Both lessons will re-start in February with another swing subject so stay tuned!

The UAH Dance Club is kicking off the year with a winter dance Friday, January 22nd. Reuel Reis of Nashville fame will be teaching a beginner lesson at 6:45 followed by dancing at 8!

What: LINDY *CHALLENGE* CLASS
When: Jan 23, 12pm-2pm
Where: UAH Exhibit Hall, UAH Student Center, Huntsville, AL
Cost: $15
This is an INTERMEDIATE level Lindy class for those who already have a solid understanding of the Lindy Basics. This class is intended to CHALLENGE you by giving you lots of new moves and technique, as well as pushing your current Lindy ability into whole new areas. Come ready to rock!
