It's that time of the year! Love is in the air and Cookeville Swing Dance Society is putting their dance shoes on for their annual Sweetheart Swing Dance and you're invited!!
Come join us for 4 hours of dancing with a Live Band, free lesson, a Jack and Jill competition, dance performance, and prize winning contests.
A free basic East Coast Lesson will be given from 7-8pm with dancing afterwards. So if you don't know how to dance don't worry about it. Come out for our lesson and we'll have you dancing all night long.
Dancing will be from 8-12pm with a great live performance from The Four Horns and some fantastic DJ'ing.
Also enjoy a great dance routine performed by some of our fellow CSS members.
There will be a Jack and Jill contest and a prize for the Cutest Couple and Sweetest Sweetheart Single (Male and Female).
For those who don't know a Jack and Jill contest is, it is where a lead and a follow will be randomly paired from a competitor list to compete against other randomly paired couples. The couple who dances the best will win by vote of judges or audience.
Dress code is semi-formal. So don't come in just jeans and t-shirts.... Dress to Impress.
