Thank you to everyone who came out to the New Years Eve Bash. It was an incredible event! We had more people at the lesson than would fit on the dance floor. Gabriel and Tabitha taught an excellent lesson and Rocket City Jazz Orchestra followed it up with four fantastic sets. I think I speak for Huntsville's swing dance community when I say that RCJO has made Huntsville a better place both to dance and just to enjoy the arts!
Also, a big thank you to the HSDS board and all the people who helped prepare for this dance. Many of the HSDS board members put in weeks of work ahead of the dance and 8-10 hours of work the day of the dance. Also, we had multiple great volunteers who's hard work helped make the event the beautiful, smoothly running event it was. Also, thank you to our intermission DJ, Gabe, who made sure the music kept rockin while the band took a break.
Thanks again to everyone who came and participated! Everyone together helped make it a great event leading into what will be our best year yet!
