Pete Roze is Hookin us up!! HSDS goes way back with Pete and when he saw that we'd had a band cancel he decided to come to the rescue! Pete Roze and the Swing Asylum has domne some great shows for us and every dancer in Huntsville has danced to him and loved it! Schools back in session, the friends you haven't seen all summer are back in town, and this is your chance to catch up. Come for the concert! Come for your friends! Come to be part of the action and not just have to hear about it!
For the beginner lesson we will be doing Blues rather than our normal 6-count lindy lesson. The lesson will be taught by Sara Simpson and Gabriel Bassett. It'll cover all the basic stuff you need to know to get on the dance floor with the other blues dancers and show your partner a good time so, especially if you are a veteran swing dancer who secretly wants to get into blues, come early for the lesson!
