Flying Monkey Arts Center
The Flying Monkey Arts Center theater at Lowe Mill is by far the best dance location in Huntsville. The Monkey combines a classic atmosphere reminiscent of simpler times with the cozy feel of a trendy club. It sports a large dance floor with a marley mat for dancing out of the main light. There is a wonderful stage where the dancers dance just inches from the performers. And, for those not dancing, there is plenty of seating, ideal for watching the dancers and the bands. The Flying Monkey serves refreshments though nothing alcoholic. However, you are allowed to bring whatever you may, so sit back and enjoy a glass of your favorite wine while you dance!
Madison Ballroom
Madison Ballroom is our go to venue for large workshops. It's a ballroom built by dancers, for dancers. They have a great floating floor taking up almost the entire area. It's easy to find and near food for those rushed workshop lunches. Also, the built in PA makes hearing the instructors a breeze. And for latenights its a great place to turn off the lights and show your smoother side!
The Station #2
Located inside Bridge Street Town Centre, The Station is one of the best places in Huntsville to kick back and relax. Not only do they have a good floor for dancing and a private room to do it in, they also have a ton of other things to do. There's bowling, shuffleboard (it's fun, trust me), billiards, a little arcade, a bar, a restaurant and about everything else you could want. When it comes to places to cap a dancing weekend, you couldn't ask for a better place!
